An anonymous benefactor has offered NWC an extraordinary challenge: Raise $500,000 for 50th Anniversary building projects within the next six months, and donations will be matched dollar for dollar.
The challenge began on Apr. 1, 2012, and pledges or one-time payments must be made by Sept. 30, 2012. (Pledge payments may extend through year-end 2014, however.) Click here for a pledge form.
Contributions must be earmarked for one of three remaining 50th Anniversary capital improvement projects: renovation of the Richard Rice Auditorium; creation of the Rev. Henry C. Frascadore Center for Performance and Achievement; and the reconfiguration of the front of the school, which will include a redesigned egress, a paver walkway, and the Rev. Bradford Colton Memorial Atrium.
Director of Advancement Patricia Walsh and Advancement Officer Colby Thresher are available to discuss naming opportunities or to answer other questions about the challenge.
“This gift is a terrific way for those who love this school to help achieve these projects and make their donations count even more,” said NWC Principal/Chief Administrator Margaret Williamson. “The 50th anniversary has been an opportunity to celebrate a great school’s history and prepare for its future. We hope that many people will contribute to this effort.”
