School Shield

The shield of Northwest Catholic features a torch (an image of enlightenment and knowledge) and a cross (representing our Catholic identity and spiritual mission), superimposed upon an open book -- a symbol of education and learning.

This shield, which has its roots in the shield of the Dominican Sisters of St. Mary of the Springs, captures the stability, strength and discernment that are the hallmarks of the academic and spiritual mission of Northwest Catholic High School.
