SUMMARY: Northwest Catholic High School (NWCHS) in West Hartford, Connecticut is an Archdiocesan Catholic co-educational college preparatory high school serving 569 students. NWCHS presently seeks a dynamic, effective President, effective date July 1, 2017.
The President position requires the applicant to be a practicing Catholic; demonstrate commitment to the principles of Catholic education, have strong communication and leadership skills, sound fiscal management, and a clear vision on how to maintain a vibrant Catholic identity, while maintaining close alumni relations and building a strong financial base for lasting vitality for the school and support for student assistance. The President is responsible for the overall oversight of development and management of all aspects of the organization.
Candidates are expected to hold a Master’s Degree, preferably in Educational Administration/Leadership, and a minimum of five years’ experience in the field of education.
