Northwest Catholic has a personalized, friendly Admissions process. Our goal is to help prospective students and their families discover whether this is truly "the school where they know that they belong." After you have gotten to know us a bit through this web site, we invite you to request a packet of admissions material and to visit us in person. Many of our current families say that's when they knew for sure that this was the school for them.
The Admissions process typically begins in the fall. We host Information Sessions at several locations throughout the Greater Hartford region in October; our annual Open House in November; and ongoing "shadow days," when prospective students come in small groups to spend part of a school day with current students.
Our Entrance Exam is given on the first Saturday of December, and is also offered again at the end of January and the end of March. The completed application for admission serves as a student's registration for the exam. Students are notified of admissions decisions by the end of January.
