Northwest Catholic’s school counselors provide personal attention to their students and their families including informational program nights at each grade level, highlighted by a college planning conference in junior year. The school counselors are dedicated to ensuring that students reach their potential while in high school and are prepared to meet the challenges they’ll face in the future. Counselors utilize individual and group counseling techniques and programs to help nurture and monitor a student’s academic progress, extracurricular activities and social interactions from freshman year through senior year. Our goal is to cultivate successful, well-rounded students who are empowered to achieve their individual goals and are prepared for success in college.
Our annual School Profile provides details about our curriculum, grading, student performance on standardized exams (including the SATs), and college acceptances. Click here for the complete list of colleges and universities to which members of the Class of '15 were accepted.
The Guidance Department has four full-time counselors, a full-time secretary and an academic support advisor.
