Welcome to Northwest Catholic! Since our founding in 1961, we have been forming young men and women into leaders who view their gifts and talents as meaningful expressions of faith. No matter their socio-economic, ethnic or religious background, Northwest Catholic High School students are challenged to embrace diversity and pursue excellence academically, spiritually and physically. Finally, our Northwest Catholic graduates are people who measure success in light of how deeply they have rooted their lives in service that promotes justice in an increasingly complex global society.
Faith and service at Northwest Catholic grow out of our rigorous academic program and focus on leadership formation. Our students are challenged to reach beyond their known limits and grow as life-long students and leaders. Whether in the classroom, on the athletic field, on our stage or serving in a local shelter, school or nursing home, Northwest Catholic students put faith and leadership into practice daily.
I invite you to stop by and feel the creative energy at work in the Northwest Catholic community. Nothing can replace the experience of visiting and talking with our students, our dedicated faculty, parents and graduates. The “Northwest Catholic family” you often hear about is genuine and provides the nurturing environment in which our students thrive, gain confidence, and support one another as community.
In my first year as President of Northwest Catholic High School, I look to our mission and our motto to guide us: “In Your light we shall see light.” Everything we do at Northwest Catholic, every act and every interaction is an opportunity to be the light of Christ for one another. It is this amazing spirit of faith and light that has distinguished the Northwest Catholic community for over five decades. Northwest Catholic’s future is bright today because of the giants who have led us and who continue to support us. We are strong because of the amazing young men and women who become the vision of a Northwest Catholic graduate in a world that desperately needs their exceptional gifts. We hope you and your family will join us here at Northwest Catholic: “The school where you know you belong!” I look forward to seeing you.
In peace & gratitude,
Mr. Christian J. Cashman, M.Ed.
