Alumni Athletic Hall of Fame
To honor alumni who exhibited exceptional athletic achievements, as well as anyone who has made an outstanding contribution to NWC athletics in any other capacity, the Northwest Catholic Alumni Council created the Alumni Athletic Hall of Fame; the first class was inducted in the spring of 2005.
The ninth Alumni Athletic Hall of Fame class was inducted on Sat., April 27, 2013. This year's inductees are John Lyons '70, Robert Marques '77, Bruce Mathews '88, Andrea Clarke '96, and Shayla Wallace '97. Mary Holloway Preble will be named an honorary member, which will be awarded posthumously.
The eighth Hall of Fame class was inducted on Sat. Sept. 15, 2012.
The seventh Hall of Fame class was inducted on Sat., Mar. 26, 2011. The 1987-88 Girls' Basketball team -- the first in school history to win a Girls' Basketball State Championship -- was also honored on that evening.
The sixth Hall of Fame class was inducted on Sat., Mar. 27, 2010, and the 1981 Softball team, which won the only Softball State Championship in school history, was also honored.
The fifth Hall of Fame class was inducted on Mar. 28, 2009. In addition, the 1976 Boys' Cross Country Team, which won the State Championship that year, was recognized that night.
The fourth Hall of Fame class was inducted on March 29, 2008. Special recognition was also accorded the 1972 Boys' Basketball team, which won the first Boys' Basketball State Championship in school history.
