Becoming Whole People

When we speak of the profile of a graduate, we are talking about a student who is becoming, not a student who has become. We invite students to discover who they are over their four years at Northwest Catholic, and we give students the tools to explore, again, who they are in college and beyond.

There are no one dimensional students at Northwest Catholic. Our mathematicians are athletes, our vocalists are volunteers, our writers are runners and cellists and altar servers and on and on.

Our well-rounded students then graduate and move on to their institutions of higher learning and bring their varied gifts with them. Our graduates are walking proof of the value of a Northwest Catholic education.

NWC Alum Returns to Discuss Her Work on the Bench

The Honorable Donna M. Wilkerson-Brillant '83 of the Ansonia-Milford Judicial District returned to her alma mater on May 1 to present a First Amendment lesson to NWC's civics classes as well as share stories about life as a judge.

Erin Neagle, a 2008 graduate of Northwest Catholic, recently returned to the school as a guest speaker in the new Alumni LEADS program to discuss her work in hospitality management.

Colleen Riley '12 Helps Students Understand the World of Pharmacy

Colleen Riley '12 is currently a pharmacist at CVS in Cromwell. She spoke to seniors of her experiences at NWC, her road to Duquesne University’s School of Pharmacy, and why students  should step out of their comfort zones and take risks until they find their place. Riley also discussed the challenges of pharmacy work, the opioid crisis, and why she likes working one-on-one with patients to improve their health.
