NWC students earning a 3.67+ cumulative average are usually celebrated with a delicious breakfast. This year the biannual Honors Breakfast is put on hold, but the school recognizes these standout students for their academic achievement.

Matthew Deneen of Windsor and Harrison Waterbury of Avon were named Commended Students in the 2021 National Merit Scholarship Program.
Gabriel Landi of Colebrook is NWC 2020 Valedictorian, and Katherine Dudley of Wethersfield is Salutatorian. Landi plans to attend Northeastern University and Dudley plans to attend Brown University this fall.
Mateo Moran '21 and his father, John, delivered forty puzzles to Northwest Catholic's teachers over Easter Weekend.

The Honorable Vanessa L. Bryant for the District of Connecticut spoke to the NWC community about Brown v. Board of Education, culminating the school’s month-long Black History Month celebration.
The brilliant and humble Kerri Lee Alexander '10, today a Ph.D. candidate at Howard University and an Education and Public History Fellow at the National Women’s History Museum, was both delighted and flattered to be at the podium, teaching, storytelling, and inspiring the young minds before her.
Mrs. Kristina Gillespie, a 30-year veteran teacher at Northwest Catholic, took a pilgrimage to Israel as a professional development sabbatical.
