Northwest Catholic Celebrates 21 Students Headed to College Athletics

On May 24, 2017 Northwest Catholic High School in West Hartford celebrated its 21 students heading to play Division I, II and III college athletics. During the ceremony 15 students signed letters of intent to play DII and DIII next year, joining the six Northwest Catholic students who already signed to play Division I sports in 2017-18 at their respective universities.

The 21 students who were honored come from 15 different sending towns throughout Greater Hartford.

Northwest Catholic is home to 24 sports teams where 83% of the student body participates. The school has won 47 state championships (11 since 2011) and seven sportsmanship awards in the past six years. The school is proud of its longstanding tradition of excellent athletics.
