S M L XL Boys' Baseball Boys' Baseball (grades 4-9) June 25 - June 28 (9am - 12pm) A camp atmosphere designed to fit the needs of any baseball player, this program is designed to improve all aspects of a player’s game including hitting, pitching, fielding, base running, and throwing. The camp will be run by State Championship Winner Coach Carlson, along with current and former NWC players. Students will be placed in groups according to their age and skill level. Boys' Basketball Session 1: June 25 - June 28 (8:30am - 12pm) (grades 8-9) Session 2: July 2, 3, 5, 6 (8:30am - 12pm) (grades 4-7) Session 3: July 9 - July 12 (8:30am - 12pm) (grades 4-9) This program is beneficial to players of all skill levels and is designed to teach the fundamentals of basketball while covering many aspects of team play. This camp led by All-American Coach of the East John Mirabello will feature games and drills that will develop individual skill from beginners to advanced players. Coach: John Mirabello, NWC Boys’ Varsity Coach Boys' Soccer Boys' Soccer July 9 - July 12 (12:30pm - 4pm) (grades 4-9) This instructional clinic is designed to work on dribbling, shooting, ball control, and other game-like tactics. Led by longtime NWC soccer coach Terry Phillip, this camp will incorporate drills, conditioning, competitions, and scrimmages. All athletes receive a T-shirt. Coach: Terry Phillip, NWC Boys’ Varsity Coach Girls' Soccer Girls' Soccer Session 1: July 16 - July 19 (4:30pm - 7:30pm) (grades 4-9) Session 2: August 6 - August 9 (4:30pm - 7:30pm) (grades 4-9) This clinic emphasizes soccer fundamentals including dribbling, shooting, ball control, heading, trapping, and tactics. Led by State Championship Winner Todd Sadler this camp will include instruction on individual and team play. Daily contests and competitions will complete a fun-filled evening. Girls' Basketball July 16 - July 19 (8:30am - 12pm) (grades 4-9) This program is beneficial to players of all skill levels and is designed to teach the fundamentals of basketball while covering many aspects of team play. Coach: Al Phillips, Jenniqua Bailey, Jeff Cahill, with Rebecca Lobo Rushin Boys' Lacrosse Boys' Lacrosse July 16 - July 19 (10am - 1pm) (grades 4-9) This camp is designed to enhance lacrosse skills of the middle school athlete. Players will improve their stick-work through drills and game situations. A focus on small group instruction with the latest high rep lacrosse drills will help lead to quick improvement. The experience will be enhanced with coaching from MLL player Peter Vlahakis. Coach: Peter Vlahakis, NWC Boys’ Varsity Coach Girls' Field Hockey Girls' Field Hockey July 23 - July 26 (9am - 12pm) (grades 4-9) Players will be positively challenged to improve their game to prepare for the high school level. We will incorporate individual skills, team play, conditioning, and competitions. Coach: Jeff Cahill, NWC Varsity Field Hockey Coach and Ashley Mara '08, NWC Assistant Field Hockey Coach Girls' Lacrosse Girls' Lacrosse July 23 - July 26 (1pm - 4pm) (grades 4-9) Players will work on improving their individual skills and develop and improve their game at the middle school level as well as prepare them for the high school level. This camp will incorporate drills, conditioning, competitions, and scrimmages to improve stick skills and game like situations. Coach: Ashley Mara '08, NWC Girls’ Head Coach and Jeff Cahill, NWC JV Field Hockey Coach Girls' Volleyball Girls' Volleyball July 30 - August 2 (9am - 12pm) (grades 4-9) This instructional program is designed to teach solid fundamental skills to both beginning and experienced middle school girls. With the assistance of current NWC volleyball players the program is designed to meet the needs of all levels of play. Boys' Football July 9 - July 12 (9am - 12pm) (grades 4-9) This camp will teach the fundamentals of football so that each player improves his/her skills. There also will be instruction in the proper techniques of flexibility, speed, agility, and strength training. This non-contact camp is beneficial to players of all skill levels. Softball July 30 - August 2 (4pm - 7:30pm) (grades 4-9) This instructional program will teach solid fundamental defensive skills for both the infield and outfield, hitting drills along with conditioning drills to develop speed and balance needed to compete at the next level. With the assistance of current NWC softball players the program is designed to meet the needs of all levels of play. You will enjoy the fun competitive drills designed to challenge your ability. Coach: Rick Smith, NWC Varsity Softball Coach Cheerleading Cheerleading July 17-19 3:30pm - 5:30pm (grades 4-9) This camp will teach the fundamentals of all areas of cheerleading, including tumbling, stunting, dancing, and jumping. Athletes will learn proper technique and progressions in order to move onto more advanced skills. Athletes will learn a short routine to perform on the final day. Camp is open to athletes of all skill level, beginner through advanced. Camp includes a cheerleading bow. Coach: Courtney Ramos, NWC Cheerleading Coach
