Northwest Catholic has a long and proud history of outstanding sports programs, and our summer athletic camps follow in that celebrated tradition. All our summer sports camps are led by Northwest Catholic's experienced and winning coaches. Boys' Baseball

Boys' Baseball (grades 4-9)

June 26 - June 29 (9am - 12pm)

A camp atmosphere designed to fit the needs of any baseball player. The program is designed to improve all aspects of a player’s game including hitting, pitching, fielding, base running, and throwing. The camp will be run by Coach Carlson, along with current and former NWC players. Students will be placed in groups according to their age and skill level.

Session 1: June 26 - June 29 (8:30am - 12pm) (grades 8-9)

Session 2: July 3, July 5 - July 7 (8:30am - 12pm) (grades 4-7)

Session 3: July 10 - July 13 (8:30am - 12pm) (grades 4-9)

This program is beneficial to players of all skill levels and is designed to teach the fundamentals of basketball while covering many aspects of team play. The clinic will feature games and drills that will develop individual skill from beginners to advanced players.

Girls' Soccer

Session 1: July 10 - July 13 (4:30pm - 7:30pm) (grades 4-9)

Session 2: August 7 - August 10 (4:30pm - 7:30pm) (grades 4-9)

This clinic emphasizes soccer fundamentals including dribbling, shooting, ball control, heading, trapping, and tactics. Instruction on individual and team play will be included. Daily contests and competitions will complete a fun-filled evening. All athletes receive a T-shirt.

July 10 - July 13 (9am - 12pm) (grades 4-9)

This camp is designed to enhance lacrosse skills of the middle school athlete. Players will improve their stick-work through drills and game situations. A focus on small group instruction with the latest high rep lacrosse drills will help lead to quick improvement. The experience will be enhanced with coaching from MLL player Peter Vlahakis.

July 24 - July 27 (9am - 12pm) (grades 4-9)

Players will be positively challenged to improve their game to prepare for the high school level. We will incorporate individual skills, team play, conditioning, and competitions.

July 24 - July 27 (1pm - 4pm) (grades 4-9)

Players will work on improving their individual skills and develop and improve their game at the middle school level as well as prepare them for the high school level. This camp will incorporate drills, conditioning, competitions, and scrimmages to improve stick skills and game like situations.

July 31 - August 3 (8:30am - 12pm) (grades 4-9)

This instructional program will teach solid fundamental defensive skills for both the infield and outfield, hitting drills along with conditioning drills to develop speed and balance needed to compete at the next level. With the assistance of current NWC softball players the program is designed to meet the needs of all levels of play. You will enjoy the fun competitive drills designed to challenge your ability.

Cheerleading

Cheerleading

August 2 - August 4 (4pm - 6pm) (grades 4-9)

This camp will teach the fundamentals of cheerleading. We focus on proper technique in all areas of the sport, including jumps, tumbling, and stunting. There will be instruction for all skill levels from beginner through advanced. We will work on building individual skills as well as team skills. The clinic will include games, drills, and a performance on the final day. All participants will receive a cheer bow.
