Dance

At its deepest level, dance is an expression of our spirit.

Dance at Northwest Catholic is centered around the whole person — mind, body, spirit, and imagination. Beginners and advanced students alike grow their own unique movement style in addition to performing as an ensemble. In order to tap into our focus and our faith, we practice mindfulness through sacred movement, guided meditation, journaling, and structured improvisational dance. It is through mindfulness that we as artists connect to and grow to the divine light within.

Over the years we have grown an amazing network of teaching artists, designers, and Broadway professionals who generously bring their expertise to our students. Many of these designers, master teachers, and guest directors are people we shared the stage with. Some are even former students. All of them are part of our theater family.
