From our rigorous academic curriculum, to our exceptional athletic teams, to our inspiring student life and character-building activities, Northwest Catholic provides opportunities for all students to learn and grow in a remarkable educational setting, grounded in Catholic faith and moral values.

Northwest Catholic’s diverse student body, expert faculty and staff, and forward-looking philosophies make it the ideal place for tomorrow’s leaders to prepare for success in our evolving global society.

Northwest Catholic has a personalized, friendly Admissions process. Our goal is to help prospective students and their families discover "the school where they know that they belong," through our Information Sessions, Open House, Shadow Days and other special Admissions events.

Northwest Catholic offers an outstanding, college preparatory, academic program rooted in the Catholic Tradition. Academic excellence remains the key component of Northwest Catholic’s mission. Students are supported by the fundamentals of the program and challenged by a broad array of Honors and Advanced Placement classes. Students receive a foundation in religion, history, math, science, English, languages and the arts, which allows them to learn to read more closely, think more carefully, and write more clearly.

Northwest Catholic offers a full program with academic courses in each of the five main arts disciplines: Studio Art, Instrumental Music, Choral Music, Dance and Theater. Our students have the opportunity to take classes in each discipline during the academic day, as well as participate in a variety of extracurricular arts-related activities after school and in the evening.
All students who attend Northwest Catholic have the opportunity to challenge themselves outside of the classroom on one of our sports teams. Today, Northwest Catholic offers its students the opportunity to participate on any one of the 44 (including Freshman, Junior Varsity and Varsity levels) athletic programs offered at the school.

As a Catholic school, faith is an important part of life at Northwest Catholic. We welcome students of all faiths to our community - 21% of Northwest Catholic students are not Catholic. Mass is celebrated at the school each month and the chapel is always open for prayer, with adoration held every Friday in the chapel. Our chaplain, Fr. Emmanuel Ihemedu, is at the school each week and is available to speak to students in the Campus Ministry Office. In addition, students go on retreat once a year.

Northwest Catholic cherishes our relationship with the approximately 7500 people who have graduated from Northwest since 1965. Our goal is to keep you informed of alumni events, the latest achievements of our students and other special events and programs, including class reunions and alumni receptions.

Northwest Catholic firmly believes that parents are the first and most important educators of their children. Thus, we seek a partnership with parents in our mission to educate the minds, bodies, spirits, and souls of their teenagers, and we encourage parents to take an active role in this effort.

Parents who participate in school life reap the benefits of friendship and camaraderie of other parents while supporting the efforts of the students. Northwest Catholic is "the school where you know you belong," and that includes parents!

Your gifts of treasure, talent, and time to Northwest Catholic enable us to maintain the vitality of our fine college preparatory high school, allowing us to invest in the students, faculty, programs, and facilities that make a Northwest Catholic education exceptional. Your support has enabled us to successfully fulfill our mission to educate the whole person – spirit, mind, body, and soul – in the Catholic tradition for more than 50 years.
