Ways to Give

In addition to making a gift of cash, either by sending a check or by donating on-line, you may make a gift to Northwest Catholic in the following ways:

United Way: You may designate your United Way contributions to Northwest Catholic; the designation code is AG0374. For more information about other United Way designations, click here.

Securities: A gift of securities may offer several advantages. You do not pay capital gains income tax on the appreciation in value and a charitable deduction is allowed for your gift.

Bequest by Will or Trust: Remembering Northwest Catholic in your will or trust is a special way to ensure the excellence of Catholic education for future generations. Click here for more on Planned Giving.

Life Income Gift: These vehicles allow the donor to receive life income for the donor, spouse, or another family member and a reduction of estate taxes. The most common vehicles are charitable remainder trusts or gift annuities.

Real and Personal Property: Gifts of highly-valued personal property including art, jewelry, antiques, rare books, as well as real estate, may provide significant charitable deductions to the donor. The assignment of an existing life insurance policy is a charitable deduction of the cash surrender value to the School. The purchase of a new life insurance policy naming Northwest Catholic as the beneficiary allows you to deduct the premium payments as a charitable deduction and provide a lump sum to the School.
