They are expected to participate in annual professional development sessions for the spiritual formation of coaches and students in Catholic high school athletics, serving as a role model in integrity and character. The coach will support the spiritual formation of athletes through activities such as retreats, prayer before games, and days of service, while fostering their growth as individuals of faith, moral character, and personal excellence.

The coach is responsible for promoting open communication with players and parents, organizing team meetings, and developing procedures to address any concerns. Administrative duties include managing equipment, ensuring proper use of athletic facilities, creating schedules, and distributing rosters, schedules, and contact information. The coach will monitor student-athletes' attendance, behavior, academic status, and report game results. They will also help determine team awards, oversee assistant coaches, and contribute to season evaluations for both the team and the athletic department.
