Lion for a Day Shadow Experience

Get ready to roar! As a Lion for a Day at Northwest Catholic, you’ll team up with a student ambassador and jump into a day of classes, campus life, and meeting new friends. You’ll explore classrooms, meet our teachers, grab lunch in the Dining Hall, and experience the spirit of our warm, faith-filled community. It’s a wonderful opportunity to experience what it means to be a Lion, while enjoying an engaging and memorable day on campus. You will spend the day, 8:15 am-12:45pm,  attending 3 academic classes, having a complimentary lunch in the dining hall, and connecting with students and teachers who share your interests. This is only available to 8th grade or transfer students.

We ask that students align to our dress code policy and avoid wearing sweats, leggings, hoodies, jeans, or flashy sneakers.  We suggest khakis and a polo or sweater with plain shoes.

In Focus Nights

In Focus Nights are a series of themed admissions events, designed to give prospective students and their families a deeper look into specific aspects of our school community. These evening events go beyond the standard open house, offering a more personalized and immersive experience centered around key areas of interest. Explore specific aspects of our school community—academics, arts, athletics, faith, and student life—through interactive evening events. Meet students and faculty, experience our programs firsthand, and experience the spirit of Northwest Catholic.

Pathways to NWC - October 16th, 6:00 PM-7:30 PM

Considering Catholic Education for the first time? Pathways to NWC offers an introduction to Northwest Catholic and the value of a faith-based, college-preparatory education. You'll hear from current families, students, and faculty about their journeys, discover the supportive community at NWC, and learn how we help students grow academically, spiritually, and personally. 

 

Inside Academics - October 23rd, 6:00 PM-7:30 PM

Take a deeper dive into Northwest Catholic’s rigorous, college-preparatory academic program. During this In Focus Night, you'll explore our curriculum, meet passionate faculty, and learn how we challenge and support students to reach their full potential. From honors and AP courses to individualized support and college counseling, discover how NWC prepares students for success in college and beyond 
 

Beyond the Classroom  - October 30th, 6:00 PM-7:30 PM

There’s more to school than academics—and at Northwest Catholic, student life thrives beyond the classroom. This In Focus Night highlights our vibrant extracurricular offerings, including athletics, clubs, leadership opportunities, and campus ministry. Meet coaches, student leaders, and campus ministers, and discover how NWC’s diverse extracurricular offerings help students grow through competition, community, and service.

7th Grade Experience Day 

Attention 7th grade students! Join us this spring for 7th Grade Experience Day. where you will get the opportunity to spend a day on campus, meet our students and teachers, and get a first-hand look at what it’s like to be part of the Northwest Catholic community. It’s a fun and engaging way to explore high school life before the admissions process begins in 8th grade.
