Congratulations to Margaret Price '21 for winning First Place in the National Faith and Blue Weekend Essay Contest!

Close to 500 cards were signed by students, all with personalized messages, some even in Spanish, and were mailed to veterans hospitals in Rocky Hill and West Haven. Cards were also sent to residents and healthcare workers at Parkville Care Center, Park Hill Manor, McLean Home, Arbor Rose, Jerome Home, Grandview Rehab and Health Care, and St. Mary Home.

Northwest Catholic Student Government donates monies left by cancelled spring events to Manna Meals, a program to feed those with food insecurity.
Caroline Rutenberg volunteered at Foodshare this week, sorting through food, water, and supplies to be distributed to families in need during this challenging time.

If you do not go to the supermarket or redemption center during social distancing, and if you have the room, you may keep your cans and bottles and donate them to us once we are able to return to our school.

NWC Director of Campus Ministry Chris Haddad and his sons lent a hand at the St. Joseph Cathedral Food Pantry this week. The pantry allowed only one family in at a time to work, then let only one family in at a time in to gather food. It was a long but important process.
