Sara Demos Avery has been teaching English at NWC for 16 years. She earned her B.S. in Education and B.A. in Theater from Central Connecticut State University. She also has her 30+ Master's credits in Educational Administration from the University of Scranton.  

Ms. Avery recently retired her role in 2021 of NWC's Director of Dramateurs where she directed plays such as The Good Doctor and The Arsonists and musicals such as The Little Mermaid and Into the Woods. Her 16+ years of dedication to the Dramateurs is deeply appreciated.
